Annual CACFP Training
Grow It! Try It! Like It!
Eat food, get dirty, play games!
Join us as we explore gardening to table in the child care setting.
We will:
Have examples of lots of different ways to do container gardening.
There’s sure to be one that works for you.
Make and taste simple easy to make recipes using the produce
you grow.
Discover fun and interactive ways to get parents involved.
Share provider tested ways to encourage the choosy eater.
Develop ways to get children involved and active as
they garden.
Attendance at this fun/interactive workshop will fulfill
the training requirement for the food program. In other
words, if you attend this workshop you will not have to
do the in-home packet.
Registry certificates toward your continuing education requirement for
regulation will be available for workshop participants. There are no
continuing education hours for the in-home study packet.
Please email (horizons@bayland.net) or call (920-826-7292) to register.
Each workshop limited to 30 participants.
